HPDE and Drift at Willow Springs

Fee: See the Registration Page for Driver Fees for each motorsport activity.

PLEASE NOTE THAT A $10 GATE FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO EACH INDIVIDUAL ENTERING THE WILLOW SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY COMPLEX. THIS FEE DOES NOT GO TO ZCON, IT IS RETAINED BY THE TRACK.

Experience the performance of your Nissan/Datsun Z Car as you push it to the limits in a controlled environment! The oldest permanent road course in the United States, Willow Springs International Motor sports Park is a 600-acre complex of eight racetracks embracing nearly every conceivable motor sports discipline. For our ZCON2023 High Performance Drivers Education and Track Day experience, we will play on the legendary Big Willow course.

Big Willow is a super-fast 2.5-mile / nine-turn road racing circuit, patterned after the great courses and road racing traditions of Europe, and is unchanged from its original 1953 configuration.

Horse Thief Mile is a 1-mile (1.6 km) drift course with 11 turns featuring major elevation changes, tight turns, and canyon-like surroundings.

Spectators are welcome! With its long and short straight-aways, tight corners, and long sweeping turns, there aren’t many road courses in the world with spectator viewing like Willow Springs. Guests can see almost the entire racecourse from just about anywhere, including the many trackside camping areas. Spectator amenities include two full-service diners with full bars, a well-stocked gift shop, plenty of spectator seating and parking modern restrooms, and outstanding viewing areas. Large viewing areas are available for RV parking and camping, including several full hookups for trailers and motor homes. Racer amenities include several enclosed garages available for use by competitors and testers, with racing fuel and tire services available at the track daily.

Autocross and Drag Racing at Irwindale Speedway

Fee: See the Registration Page for Driver Fees for each motorsport activity.

Located in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley, less than 30 minutes from the host hotel, Irwindale Speedway is directly adjacent to the 605 Freeway and easily accessible from anywhere in Southern California.

Irwindale Roval is the place to enjoy a spirited autocross challenge and compete with fellow ZCON guests. Hone your driving skills while maneuvering through a tight/technical coned-track! The course will take advantage of the banked ends of the roval as well. This will be your opportunity to test those suspensions and tires!

Irwindale Dragstrip offers a 1/8th Mile NHRA sanctioned dragstrip with a concrete starting box and featuring a 1/2 mile run-out.

Note: NASCAR commenced plans to renovate the Autoclub Speedway venue, so the Autocross and Drag events will now be held at Irwindale Speedway.

Hollywood Screening Movie Night

Fee: $20 per person, base ZCON registration is required.

This year, ZCON movie night will screen a few seldom or never-before-seen Z-related short films, documentaries and videos.

The Fox Theater Pomona opened its doors on April 24, 1931 as an extravagant Hollywood-glam movie palace. Designed by Balch and Standberry, the Fox had big-city flair in a small agricultural community. Now, almost 85 years later, the Fox has grown into a revered state-of-the-art entertainment complex. Its rich history, fully restored art-deco design, and intimate capacity provides attendees an unforgettable experience.
