Registration
& Z Store
The
Registration and Z Store is located inside the Wild Horse Pass
Hotel. As you enter the
main lobby, take a left and follow ZCON 2012 signs to the main
convention area. Upon
check-in at convention registration, you will receive your
Convention Badge, a Goodie Bag, a car number (which goes on the
driver-side upper-corner of windshield) and other materials.
Convention registrants along with sponsors should pick up their
materials ASAP when arriving at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel. Your
goodie bag contains your event materials for all the events you are
registered for.
Multiple
raffles will be held during the convention week.
Additional information will be provided.
Be
sure to stop by the Z store, which will be adjacent to the
registration area. We
will have our silent auction items, live auction items and sponsor
products on display in this area.

Suds-N-Shine
For
your Z or Datsun Heritage vehicle, we will have an area available
for you in the ZCON 2012 parking lot at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel
equipped with hoses and buckets.

Opening
Reception 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Join
us Tuesday evening for the Opening Ceremonies of the Silver
Anniversary/25th Annual International Z Car Convention at the Wild
Horse Pass Hotel and Casino. Traditionally
this is a great opportunity to meet and greet old friends and new
convention attendees.
We
will kick off the evening in the Acacia Ballroom at 5:30pm.
Enjoy a variety of southwestern style appetizers and soft
drinks while
experiencing the spiritual sounds of the Native American flute.
A cash bar will
be available.
Traditionally,
and again this year, the convention begins with welcoming comments from a variety of ZCCA, ZCON2012 team members and other
distinguished guests as we present the weeks schedule of events, logistics and
local information.

Rawhide
Dinner
Rawhide
offers guests friendly Old West hospitality, good family fun and
tasty home-cooked favorites in the world-famous Steakhouse and
Saloon. You can discover and explore this 1800’s frontier
town with all its Wild West live action and more. Attractions
at Rawhide Western Town include:
Six
Gun Theater, Desert Train Ride, Gold Panning, Burro Rides, Petting
Zoo, Butterfield Stage Coach, Mechanical Bull, Rock Climbing Wall,
Spirit of the West Theater, and much more.
The
ZCON dinner is Thursday, September 20th from 6:00 PM -
9:00 PM. Bus service from the hotel to Rawhide starts at 4:45
PM. ZCON attendees will receive 2 for 1 coupons for admittance to
Rawhide Western Town. These
coupons, which appear to be expired, will be honored for ZCON
attendees
and can be used any evening during ZCON to visit the attractions
at Rawhide Western Town.

Closing
Awards Banquet 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM
The
closing banquet will be held in the Wild Horse Pass Showroom
Theater. The closing
banquet includes an awards ceremony, a virtual visit by Yutaka
Katayama (Mr. K), a Live
Auction, speakers and more.
The
event begins with a social gathering, including a cash bar.
A plated dinner will be served. Experience the rich heritage of
the American Indian through native song and dance.
Dress
code – business casual . No
t-shirts or shorts. You
must be registered for the convention to attend.

Apache
Trail Jeep Tours The
tour is SOLD OUT
Looking for
an adventure? We are
offering a 90 minute 4x4 desert jeep tour.
The trail tours are based at Goldfield Ghost town located on
the historical Apache Trail. Meet
at the hotel parking lot on Wednesday, 07:45 am and caravan to the
Goldfield Ghost Town and enjoy a 90 minute 4 x 4 desert tour.
Experience the majestic canyons and towering saguaros unique
to this area of the Sonoran desert.
Hold on as you crest rock peaks and slide down the other
side. Ride over desert
riverbeds and on trails from the Gold Rush days of the 1800’s.
Watch for bighorn sheep, coyotes, deer and maybe even a
rattlesnake as you traverse the trails.
Afterward stop by the Goldfield Ghost Town where you can
truly experience the “wild west”.
ZCON 2012 will be holding a special tour event Wednesday,
September 19, however special discounts are also available for all
the Apache trail tours throughout the week.

Rice Hypnosis Show

Don Rice and His Parade of Stars have appeared around the
world. You may have seen
the show in Vegas, on Cruise Ships, on Television or at the 2008
Super Bowl. This show is
developed for Motor Heads at the exciting ZCON event.
See volunteers become race car drivers, pit crew workers and
much more. It’s an
over the top spectacle with constant laughter and amazement.
A must see show.
This
show is definitely a great addition to our event.
